CONSTITUTED FEBRUARY 1, A.D. 1888, A.L. 5888
PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA 15237
MEETS SECOND FRIDAY OF EACH MONTH
DINNER AT 6:45 PM. & MEETING STARTS AT 7:45PM.
I would like to thank all the brethren who made my goal a reality. I asked and you all came through for me. We had 111 members & visitors present . This shows how much "Friendship & Brotherly Love" we have in the Fraternity. It was a beautiful and memorable night. We started off with the D.D.G.M. of the 27th district, Danny McKnight with a powerful theme/speech of "Character in a Mason". The dinner spoke for itself (delicious). The meeting went well, we awarded two brothers with a certificate and 11 brothers, were picked at random, to receive a T-shirt. I hope they wear it proudly! While in lodge, the ladies got to see a Broadway show which was very patriotic and entertaining. We ended the evening, with a ceremony, to honor the Past Master's living and deceased. This lodge would not be here today without the hard work and dedication of these fine officers of the lodge. THANK YOU ALL FOR WHAT PART YOU TOOK IN BUILDING THIS LODGE, TO WHAT IT IS TODAY.
I would like to take the time to thank all those that was apart of helping to make our night such a success: Brother Mike Colberg (SW), Bro. Bill Dorner (JW), Bro. Bill Weber, Bro. Bob Matasich P.M. Bro. Dick Pollak, my wife Kara, Peg Matasich, and all the others I may have forgot to mention. I couldn't have done it without you. I hope everybody liked the mug that I picked out for our 110th anniversary and our annual Past Master's night.
Our lodge is one of the ELITE and will strive each day to be the VERY BEST. We have great members and it is always great to see visiting brethren come sit in with us at a meeting. However, there are still many who for whatever reason have lost the desire to share their fellowship with us. Please take a moment and realize why you are a member. As the saying goes " YOU ONLY GET OUT OF FREEMASONRY, WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT". Taking one day a month for a Stated meeting is not asking much to visit with your brothers and deepen the friendship and love for the fraternity.
November is "Awards Night", I will be giving out "mason of the year" and "Officer of the Year". As well as, some other awards. COME OUT and support your brethren.
Remember that we have a web site. Please take the time to check it out and sign the guest Book to show your support of the page. http://members.tripod com/~corinthian573/573.html
