Corinthian Lodge #573 F. & A. M.

Greater Pittsburgh Masonic Center

3579 Masonic Way

Pittsburgh PA

January 1999

I would like to take a moment to thank everyone for attending the December Stated Meeting. It was an overwhelming experience seeing all of you come to the Lodge to show your support, and help elect the Officers for the New Year. In the past three years, I have made countless new friends, and that was the basis for my motivation to strive to become the Worshipful Master. Now all of you have helped me attain that goal, and for that I am very appreciative.

Congratulations to our new "Baby Past Master" Roland Livermore. He is a true friend and a leader, who has shown us that "110 years of Friendship and Brotherly Love" has made a difference in all of our lives. I canít wait to see his face when we show him just how much we value his friendship at the January Stated meeting on Friday January 8, 1999. Please join us to wish him well, and present him with some valuable momentos from his year, that will bring a smile to everyoneís face. Dinner will be served by 6:45 p.m., and the Lodge will convene at 7:45 p.m.

Please consider bringing your wives and family to the Stated meeting. It is a designated Craft and Game night, but more importantly, we will see a Police K-9 demonstration performed after the business meeting in the social hall by Sergeant Steve Pascarella of the Monroeville Police Department. It will be a fantastic opportunity for us to learn about the dog and his role in police work, and should answer some questions you may have about canines in general.

We have other events planned for you that we would like for you and your family to attend. Please make a note of the following dates and contact one of the Officers if you would like to attend:

1. Family Ice Skating party at North Park (Weather Permitting), Saturday January 30, 1999 - 4:30 to 7:00p.m.

$2.50/person; $2.00 skate rental;$2.00 sharpening

2. Annual Family Bowling party, Saturday February 20, 1999 (Time to be announced)

3. Annual Crucible Steel and Victory Lodge Road Trips In the Month of March. (Master Masons only)

4. Corinthian "Family day at the Pittsburgh Zoo", Saturday April 24, 1999

5. Family trip to Alexandria Virginia, George Washington National Masonic Center, Saturday, May 22 and Sunday May 23, 1999

Corinthian Lodge has always been an active Lodge with motivated members who channel their energy to make the fraternity better. We have done this in recent years, by sponsoring events to enjoy each otherís company, and have a fun time doing it. This year, we would like to continue that tradition, and with your help, we can have another exciting year with "FAMILY FUN FOR EVERYONE!"

Sincerely and Fraternally,

To the West...
