I hopr that everyone is enjoying the break in the bad weather. Before we know it, it will be 80 degrees out and humid. I would like to thank everyone who made the March Stated meeting such a success. For those of you who were not there, you missed another great time. After the dinner consisting of the best fish sandwich I have ever had, we had a very good meeting, with Brother Mike moving things along very smoothly. Be sure to congratulate our Pursuivant, Brother Rich Phillips, on delivering the opening and closing charges for the very first time. He did an excellent job. After the meeting, we had a dessert and a presentation on legal issues. Throughout the night, a good time was had by all.
As mentioned at the Stated meeting and in your notice, Corinthian Lodge is giving away two $1500.00 scholarships this year. So far, many have expressed interest in the scholarships. Be sure that you get an application off of one of the Officers and that your loved one gets the application in before April 30, the due date. Hopefully, we can make two college students very happy this year.
This is sad to say, but as of this writing, the Washington DC Trip has been canceled. Although many hours were put into planning this trip, we did not receive the response we expected.
